I have 42 third graders in my Dual Language Immersion Spanish classes. We are in a Title I school, so many of the students are economically disadvantaged. Many are also immigrants or the children of recent immigrants. My students are hard workers and enthusiastic about learning, especially when it comes to mathematics and science.
