Having multiple copies of Wonder in the classroom will allow each student to have access to their own book to use during class. This will allow for the development of a unit of study that uses Wonder as its focus.
A Wonder Unit will allow student to have a literary source they can directly refer to when they are looking for examples of figurative language or while creating a list of characteristics to use in a profile of a character from the story. Each student will also be able to discover that feeling of accomplishment one gets when they finish a novel.
