Warren Technical School is a unique educational environment serving students in DeKalb County, Georgia. We are a work-based learning vocational center of more than 200 special needs students preparing them for employment in a variety of fields and allow them to become responsible and productive adults. Our Automotive Services program, one of twelve vocational programs we offer, has a unique partnership with the DeKalb County Fleet Management Department allowing our students to work at Fleet shops and learn alongside their maintenance technicians.
As a center, we do not receive the same amount of funds a transitional school does, consequently we are often the recipients of out-dated and used equipment and materials. Given the population we serve it is crucial to be able to provide access to the technology and materials necessary to meet their educational goals.
