I am a high school history, technology, mural arts teacher working in Philadelphia school district for 10 years. I work in a low income neighborhood school and all of my students qualify and receive federally funded free lunch. Our school, Samuel Fels high school is a title one school and enrolls a diverse population of students. My classroom is extremely multi-cultural, and is a mix of African Americans, Latino Americans, European Americans, and Asian Americans. My classroom is also inclusive, which means that I teach students of various reading and writing levels, special education needs and English language learners all at one time. Your donation will help fund hands on project based learning materials and workshops for the students to utilize. Thank you so much for your time and dedication to education and helping ensure equal educational opportunities and resources exist for all of our children!
