The instruments that I have chosen will help the students begin to develop the fundamentals of music - steady beat and rhythm. We will use the Kids Hand Drums to develop steady beat, rhythm, play games, and create music. Bells, rhythm sticks, and egg shakers will help students differentiate between musical timbres. Boomwhackers are a great tool for helping students understand melody. These students have never had classroom music and we want it to be fun and educational. Students love getting to play music on instruments. With these instruments we will play songs and games together. Help us bring music back to our school!

About my class
