My students are 3, 4, and 5 years old, receiving special education services in Boston Public Schools. They are wonderful children with Developmental Delays and Autism Spectrum Disorders, well loved by the community of K-3 students in our historic, 100 year-old building that was recently re-opened as an elementary school. These little ones love our classroom library, learning through play in our centers, and making a big/creative mess! All day long they smile, laugh, dance, build, draw, paint, sing, and sometimes even share! Our students come from some very modest neighborhoods, with families who work hard to support the kids as best they can. On top of that, the children in my class present some pretty significant challenges, and your help does a tremendous amount to shape their worldview and give these kids the school experience they deserve!

About my class
