My students go to an elementary school in a high poverty urban setting. I teach students with learning and intellectual disabilities that are in the regular education classroom with interventions provided in a resource room setting. Unfortunately, my students have struggled with reading development but they are eager to learn. I want to do what I can to meet the needs of all of my students. I feel that this project will get us started in the right direction.
