My students are an amazing group of children who are focused in their work, and love utilizing technology with everything that they do. They are eager learners, but like all kids, they need motivation to reach their goals, which technology often provides them. I teach approximately 100 fourth grade students at many different learning levels, and have approximately one class set of iPads that I can sign out when available. My school is Mac based, with Smart Board technology in 25% of the classrooms. This is an amazingly knowledgeable group of children with regards to technology, so utilizing the iPads with the Apple TV will be right up their alley. Our goal is to create 21st Century learners, and this is a real "outside of the box" way to do just that.
Using an Apple TV will allow my students to experience high energy, hands-on learning activities and be more engaged in lessons. The power of seeing what everyone is doing, with up-to-date tech can't be measured!
