I would be forever thankful if you would support my classroom and help me bring resources. While I am confident my teaching methods will reach my kids, I believe my first year in teaching will go even smoother with these resources. I have included "What Do You Stand For," "Edupress Classwords," and "Word Waffle" as a way for students to learn character traits and vocabulary through games. Also, to keep students engaged in learning, I have provided an everyday science project in the form of a potato clock and linking cubes as manipulatives for math. To address students' sensory needs and need to move, I have included flexible seating in the form of cushions and clipboards (so students can sit on the floor) and a variety of "fidget toys" to help with concentration. Various school supplies I have included are recycled notebooks, multicultural crayons, pencil sharpeners, and color paper. These will be for the students to utilize for projects! Finally, I have items that will help me manage my classroom and keep it organized. These include fluorescent light filter, desk organizer, wall organizer, staple remover, and a handheld vacuum cleaner. All of these items will help me begin my teaching career and create a positive learning environment! I think when individuals are comfortable, and at ease, they can provide even more for others!
