I am currently working to create a Diverse Learners Resource Center (DLRS) at our school. This center aims to help students, parents, and teachers develop the skills required for success both in school and in life. Currently we have limited resources for Special Education and my hope is that through the creation of the DLRS our students will achieve greater success in reaching their educational goals. The materials that I have requested are designed to support children who require specialized or one on one instruction. Adaptive printing, Handwriting Without Tears materials, money management and fine motor control games are some of the materials that will aid us to build the DLRC. Additionally materialss will be made available to teachers who are working with students to address an particular area of need.
