I teach Algebra and Geometry in a 9-12 small high school. Our school serves almost exclusively students from low income neighborhoods, that are incredibly invested in their education. We have an internship program here that allows the students to explore their passions and interests at an early age. For many of them, our school is the first place where they are being asked, "What do you enjoy doing?" or "What are you good at?". Through their own life experiences and internships, they are preparing for the future stages of their lives.
