My classroom is composed of a diverse group of students who are eager to learn. My student’s country of origin can be traced back to Mexico, El Salvador, Russia, Armenia, Philippines, Guatemala, USA, Chile, Gambia, Palestine, Morocco, and Thailand. This diversity allows us celebrate what makes us different and be empathetic to others who share different ways of life. My students are full of life, charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent. We enjoy learning about current events, they are the smartest bunch when it comes to mathematics, and their love for reading amazes me. The 28 students have a bright future ahead of them for their tenacity and willingness to learn is unmatched. They are funny, competitive, intelligent, kind, resourceful, and most importantly they posses a heart of gold. They are excited to see these projects be funded and our classroom become a space for mazimized learning.
