My students are from a Title 1 School with very high poverty, and many come from broken families or parents with criminal backgrounds. They do not have a lot of previous knowledge as there is little to no parental support at home. Some students have their only meals at school as their parents have no food or money to feed them at home. We have students from over 70 countries that speak over 30 languages, so it is a very diverse school!
