5th grade teacher at Peter Howell Elementary in Tucson, Arizona. We are an OMA Gold school that prioritizes the arts and integrates them across the curriculum. Our goal is to make the arts accessible to all students! We are also a Title I school with 100% of our students receiving daily free lunch. Many of our families come from high poverty situations. We also have a large percentage of English Language Learners from all around the world.
Our school relies heavily on federal and state funding - however Arizona's 3rd lowest ranking in the nation in per pupil spending often means we lack the funds necessary to obtain basic supplies and technology for the classroom. ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½.org helps balance the scale and gives equity back to all classrooms. Our classroom thanks you for your support!
About my class
