I teach in a low-income, high-minority middle school in Southern California. It is a very unique area where many of our kids still do not have access to computers at home. I teach 7th grade Social Studies and my classroom is very media heavy. Our kids often come to us with little to no history background from elementary school and I work hard to make their first experience with history an exciting one.
