My students are amazing. They come to my speech room in alI shapes and sizes with all different background having one thing in common. They need strategies to shape themselves into effective communicators. I love helping these students improve and use their communication skills. Nothing is more rewarding than the moment when a child "gets it": "gets" his/her sound correct, "gets" the language concept or "gets" out a fluent sentence. It is amazing and I couldn't imagine doing anything else.
