We need your assistance in helping us stock our cooking closet with cookware and utensils. These materials will allow me to teach my students how to cook simple meals for themselves and their family. By donating to our project you will help my students gain skills that they need for life. They will get to select meals they would like to prepare based on their preferences. The students will also assist in finding recipes, creating budgets for needed food items, developing the grocery lists and purchasing food needed. Students will work on daily living, functional and employment skills. They will also be learning across the curriculum with literacy, math and science during our cooking lessons.

About my class
