Our 4th Grade classroom is a blended classroom. This means that we have reading and math levels from kindergarten through 4th grade. Not only is it difficult to have a library with enough books to fit all of these reading levels, there simply is not enough room in our classroom to store all of these books. A Kindle Fire could hold hundreds of books for our students to get their hands on. And for our lower leveled students, they would be able to listen to the books the the audio capabilities with a Kindle Fire. Technology is something that all students are faced with in their everyday lives. Kindle Fires would give the students in my classroom the chance to get hands on with one of the technology advancements available today. Our classroom not only has a variety of reading levels, but our math levels are varied as well. A Kindle Fire would allow the students to practice their math facts with all of the educational apps available to download onto the Kindle Fire.
