My students are in the dual language program. This program allows students to learn two languages where half of the day the instruction is in English and the other half is given in Spanish. My students are excited to learn how to read, write and speak in English and Spanish. I am very excited to be a part of my student success in acquiring a new language. It is impressive to see how my kids are acquiring the Spanish language. They are eager to learn. I have two groups in which there are about 18 students in each class. My students work well together and transition from one place to the next with minimal support. During read aloud's, students are eager to ask questions and share their thoughts. Many of them help one another express themselves in Spanish. I am happy to see the unity among both classes. They are a family. I would like to build on their skills and build their confidence in learning the new language.
