My class is made up of 98% Hispanic population with 95% of the students coming from non-English speaking families. The school district is nestled in farmland in Central California where the population of parents who have graduated from high school is 45%. 95% of the students at the school receive free or reduced lunch.
Despite the linguistic and economic challenges the students face which can effect their daily lives, they are determined to learn, create, imagine, and grow.
