My students are fifth graders in a low income, semi-rural area. We currently have 17 classroom teachers, and about 26 students in each class. Our students are very eager and interested in learning. However, we do not have all the necessary math manipulatives in order to meet the needs of all students in our school. We have been very fortunate to receive many new math materials and manipulatives this school year, but we still need more. Every student should have access to these materials daily.
