This classroom refrigerator will help keep students juice and lunches at the proper temperatures until they are to be consumed. It will also allow us to implement cooking activities into our daily routine and keep the food items that we prepare in a sanitary manner. The students will learn communication skills, daily living skills, motor and cognitive skills as part of cooking activities. Many of my students have food aversions, sensitivities, and/or allergies. This refrigerator will help me and the staff in the classroom meet their unique dietary needs and allow us the opportunities to help the children branch out and try new things.
