My students need a place where they can meet for class meetings, story time, discussions, and movement. My classroom has a very small classroom mat, but often times is too crowded and uncomfortable for students. During brain breaks and other movement activities, there is not enough space to move comfortably and safely. My students will use this mat for a variety activities. It will be utilized as a place for listening to stories, participating in Calendar Math, movement, class discussions, centers, and so much more! Your generous donation to our project will improve our First Grade classroom by building a place for student collaboration, individual participation, and all in a comfortable learning environment! This will help keep our students safe and comfortable during beneficial academic activities. Students will enjoy their time of learning in a different space from their desks, and have fun while learning!
