Many of the instructional programs in our district are computer based. The interest of my students increases tremendously when the learning involves screen graphics and coaxing to improve content skills. My students are able to receive immediate feedback and push to reach their personal goal of mastery. Although, this is difficult when there are limited proper functioning computers available. Most of our computers are outdated and unable to hold the capacity of new curriculum software programs. Technology is constantly involving and used to improve reading fluency, comprehension, math skills as well as virtual science labs. Having technology in our classroom is versatile, from creating presentations, media use, online learning programs to research projects all can be done at a student’s fingertips.
