Hello. I have been teaching for 17 years at Davis Elementary School in Camden, NJ. One of the most wonderful aspects of teaching at the same school for so long is the feeling of family and community that accompanies this. My wish for my students is that each of them develop of lifelong desire to keep learning and to have many experiences in which to do so. Very often, the ability to do this is hindered by budgetary constraints, whether these come from the state, school district, or from within their own families. By having a Donors Choose account, I hope the generosity of others will help my students to overcome some of the obstacles that impede meaningful learning solely because of lack of finances. We hope you find us worthy of your donations. As my daughter loves to say, "Please and thank you!" :)
