I am requesting a document camera to teach my new fifth graders while we are remote/hybrid learning. I am trying to live stream all of my students into our classroom however, this is difficult because my students can not see my board as I am writing/teaching. Using a document camera, my students can view everything I put under the camera and clearly see what I am teaching whether in the classroom or remote learning.
A classroom document camera will allow me to transform individual assignments into engaging assignments for the entire class, creating more discussion, interaction, and maintaining students' attention. Visual learners will benefit from the use of a classroom document camera by examining small items, reading text, and watching demonstrations. Hands-on learners can also benefit from the use of a document camera as students themselves place objects or items under the camera and explain to the class what they are showing.
