At our elementary school 30 children in grades Kindergarten through Fifth stay after school on Mondays to run! I teach 2nd grade at and also volunteer as the Running Club coach. For the last two months of school I have seen my students in running club show great determination, discipline, hard work, perseverance, and pride! They have made friends while getting exercise and learning to enjoy it. This makes it all worth it. I would love to reward students for their hard work once they have reached 26.2 miles by awarding them a gold medal. Please help me reward all of their effort. Thank you.
