In my Spanish class, students will benefit from the Front Row Juno system in many ways. For some students, getting in front of the class is not a problem, but for others, it can be a challenge to project, let alone enunciate well, and effectively communicate in the new target language. The Front Row Juno system provides a microphone for students that will help alleviate this dilemma. Students will also be able to hear me, their teacher, much more clearly--I have a soft voice and make good use of it all day with daily instruction, facilitating, and singing (grammar and authentic Spanish songs) with my students. You will be helping me conserve my voice for many more years. It is prone to laryngitis without an amplification system. Front Row Juno also has a "lesson capture" feature which can be used to record new information for students who are absent. This is an efficient use of class time. The system will also benefit students who are hard of hearing by amplifying teacher and students voices. The Front Row Juno system contains a feature that reduces interference from other electronics in the room, preventing students who use assistive devices for hearing from getting feedback. This will be a great improvement from the small amplifier systems that I have purchased in the past. They are not very durable and are prone to cause feedback and startle my classes with the interference from other electronic devices within range, including my printer, students' phones, and even the radio used by campus security. I believe Front Row Juno is a great product. I wish I could have known about it long ago. I greatly appreciate your consideration and donation to my Spanish classroom.
