My students are bright, curious, and sweet children. They love to learn in a variety of ways but especially using hands on activities. My school is part of the largest school district in the state but we are in a very rural area. There is not a lot of opportunity for my students to have the experiences that other children have. I strive to bring these experiences to them through technology and other classroom resources. I have a diverse population and a variety of households represented in my class. Parents are involved in their child's education but their resources are limited. My school strives to continue to bring education to life for these students who might not otherwise be engaged in their education.
