Hello, and welcome to Music at Northville! Our music room is a very active place in which we move to all kinds of music in all kinds of ways, sing, listen to and evaluate music, play and compose rhythms, and with your help, learn to play the ukulele. Our school serves over 420 students in PreK-Grade 2. The picture you see is of our stage decorated for Veterans Day. Our Grade 2 Singers performed a song for local veterans, whom we invite each year to spend the day with us and participate in assemblies in which they are honored. Our second grade also participates in a mini-musical and sings songs with a broad appeal to seniors in our local nursing homes. Perhaps next year we can bring our ukuleles with us and accompany ourselves as we sing "Clementine"! Thank you for considering to help us purchase soprano ukuleles for everyone in the school to use.
