Our Language Arts department is starting a new reading initiative to improve reading, vocabulary, and writing and to develop a love of reading with all students. I need to add books to my classroom library. These books will add high-interest literature over and above the regular curriculum. All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind.
With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read books they will truly love.
The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will help my students grow stronger in reading. My students already have shown an astonishing interest in independent reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word.
