My students are creative and have wonderful energy. They love to sing, dance and play instruments. Music is a place for 50 minutes each week, where they can let their hair down so to speak. It is a safe space where they can express themselves with encouragement and without judgement. Giving students the skills to explore, create and analyze music can develop a lifelong appreciation and understanding of music.
