I believe all students can learn to draw. And once students can learn to draw, the next logical step is learning to paint. Students will learn a variety of techniques using watercolors and acrylic. In watercolors, they will learn washes in a variety of methods. They will learn how to manipulate the delicate shades of watercolor into masterpieces. With acrylics students will learn about the boldness of color and texture that can be achieved with various brush strokes and techniques. Once students understand the basics of painting, they can begin to develop their own style and learn more about themselves, not only as artists but as individuals.
