I am the gifted education resource teacher at Rosa Parks Elementary. Rosa Parks is located about thirty miles outside of Washington, D.C. My students (grades 1-5) have been found eligible for gifted education services and placed in the area of math, language arts, or both math and language arts. The students with whom I work come from diverse backgrounds with roughly 1/3 of the student population coming from low income housing and 1/4 of the population being English language learners. Each student in my school district has a Microsoft 365 account, and I've created a class notebook using Microsoft OneNote. The students love doing research and completing inquiry centers using OneNote and our classroom laptops, but we only have 9 laptops available to use. The students would love to have more so that they can progress with their goal of having a paperless classroom.
