I'm so excited to be a 1st grade teacher this year! Moving to a new state, new school district and new school has been challenging, but worthwhile. These children have shown so much love, care and support for me and for one another. As their teacher, I want to ensure they have access to quality materials, curriculum and resources. To teach effectively, teachers need knowledge and skills, but also the access tools, resources, and technology to enhance students' learning. My students are bright, capable, and hard-working. They are also kind, friendly, and respectful to one another. I feel extremely blessed to work with these children. I want to provide them with everything they need to be intrinsically motivated, engaged in their own learning, and successful in whatever they do.
