If students get access to UNICEF Kid Power Bands they will have the power to make a difference in the lives of others. The Kid Power bands will enable students to learn more about how to stay fit and healthy. They will wear their bands to track their steps daily. We will discuss and work as a class to become active and find ways to lead a healthy life. I believe this will not only benefit each student individually, but will encourage us to work as a team to help others.
In addition to learning how to stay healthy, participating in the UNICEF Kid Power program will allow students to increase their global awareness and learn how their actions can make a difference. The more steps students take, the more therapeutic food packets students earn for children who are severely malnourished. I believe this program will truly help my students become aware of their health and will encourage them to help others.
