Many students have a difficult time sitting still on rigid chairs for such a long period of time. Enter wobble stools! These come in handy with their unique and safe design, which cause the people seated on them wiggle and flex muscles to stay upright while seated.
Students in my class will finally have flexible seating options with these wonderful stools! This allows everyone to win. Students using them can feel productive, and can pay attention to instruction. Students around them can also have more efficient learning, no longer being disrupted by a peer who can't sit still. These stools are a much needed tool in any classroom.
These six stools will provide something some students have never had- an option. My students will have the chance to be more comfortable in their own work space, to pay attention, to produce quality work, and to do so without disrupting anyone. Choice is a powerful thing to provide to young students. My students perceive classroom activities as more important when they are given choices, and having the choice to sit in a different way will empower my students to do their best.
