An Atlanta Public School Morningside Elementary first opened in 1929. It is located in the Morningside community on East Rock Springs Road, and currently serves the neighborhoods of Morningside, Lenox Park, Sherwood Forest, Piedmont Heights, Ansley Park, and parts of Midtown Atlanta. All students participate in weekly art instruction. They explore 2-D and 3-D art with mixed media, textiles and ceramics, drawing and painting. Students also discuss many artists from the past and present to inform their thinking and their art work.
About my class
