Hi! My name is Chereana Bowman and I teach first grade at Live Oak Elementary in Fallbrook, CA. I am starting my seventh year of teaching and absolutely love it!
As a little girl, when people asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, all I ever dreamed of was becoming a teacher. I was lucky enough to have an amazing first grade teacher that I looked up to and who inspired me to want to teach even at such a young age. Twenty-seven years later, I am now a first grade teacher and hopefully having the same effects on my students.
I recently completed my Master's degree in Education and am excited to apply everything that I learned in my classroom this year. Most of my students are unable to bring their own school supplies, so anything beyond the basic supplies (paper, pencils) I have to buy with my own money. This can become very expensive, so I appreciate any support! Thank you for making a difference!
