Our classroom would greatly benefit from new sensory and visual tools for math, literacy and open-ended creative play. Our students will benefit from the hands-on approach of creative learning. Many young students including our classrooms’ are sensory-deprived in the age of screens and advancement of technology. Simple manipulatives are an amazing tool for not only educational advancement, but cognitive growth, problem solving skills and gives students a great opportunity for communication and sharing resources within the classroom community. Our students would use these tools to grow in the classroom, and hopefully take those skills home and use them in their own environment.
