Pre K students need to have exposure to social playing with real world experiences. This is important in early development. Playing in an actual kitchenette with toy pots and pans and food will help them develop the skills to interact with one another in a positive manner. Learning to share and collaborate together. I believe these students just need to have the right tools in their activity centers. Shopping for groceries is another real world experience that will help them learn how the skills are applied in the real world. They will write shopping lists and incorporate writing into their dramatic play.
