I teach two classes of third graders in a small community in the Longview area. I feel very blessed to be able to teach my two favorite subjects, math and science. My students' backgrounds, parental support, and economic status range greatly from kid to kid. Our class mantra is "mistakes are proof you are trying". I remind them of this every day. It is okay to make mistakes but it is not okay to quit trying.
