I am looking to get our center a table tennis table and supplies. I teach at-promise girls ages 11-18. When the program (Pace Center for Girls)started in 1985 (to help curtail the involvement of girls in our justice system) the only "furniture" they had was a ping pong table.
I would like to get a table tennis table, paddles, and table tennis balls for our center, not only for the symbolic meaning, but as an opportunity for our girls to have fun, develop team building skills, and create partnerships. As a result of their situations, many have not participated in individual and/or team sports. This would be an opportunity to allow them that experience in the space we have available.
