Let your imagination soar, read more! Students who are just beginning middle school, but are still elementary aged, need a vast reading library at their fingertips. Incorporating these current books will give students access to titles they may not be able to get on their own. The middle grades are the perfect chance to help students pick books that they can relate to. Teaching lessons with picture books helps to encourage active listening, comprehension strategies and inferring skills. With a classroom library that is current and engaging ,students will be able to go to places beyond their wildest dreams- just by reading!
