My students attend a Title 1 school in an urban city. The school lacks resources for creative and innovative resources for alternative learners. I teach Special Education English Language Arts, so my students are often the first ones who need access to different ways to grasp the curriculum.
Most of my students have a Specific Learning Disability or are diagnosed as Emotionally Disturbed.
