This project will allow us to use technology to teach communication skills to children with Speech and Language Impairments such as Autism.An iPad, keyboard, speaker, stylus pens and iPad screen protector is needed to facilitate the speech apps and curriculum in a functional way with children who need adaptive access to communicate their wants, needs and ideas. The ink is essential to support students with a Speech and Language Impairment to use color coded communication boards to have engaging conversations with students at every level of communication. In Speech and Language Therapy we have the opportunity to support children with Autism to communicate with peers and teacher using technology. This will allow use to have the tools available to facilitate communication with all students.
