As a teacher in a new state this year was full of exploration not only for my student but for myself as well. Together we learned about our new school our peers and each other. We discovered new things about ourselves and our capabilities and came to be proud of all the things we accomplished. In my kindergarten classroom I had 21 little eager minds that were full of curiosity and excitement. They kept me going and encouraged me even when they didn’t know. Seeing their faces light up about an activity or ask questions about something they were wondering was my daily motivation. My classroom this year was not only diverse but it also included general and special education students of various learning styles, capabilities and backgrounds. Together we had a successful year.
