Our intent is to create a maker space in the library, dedicated to the exploration of art, crafts, and architecture. Materials will be provided for students to build bridges and sculptures, learn how to draw, and explore their creativity by being exposed to different crafts, such as making jewelry, calligraphy, and creating scrapbooks. The aim of this project is to encourage students to become life-long learners by encouraging them to explore and learn new skills. Engaged students are excited about learning, and hands-on projects are a sure fire way to inspire students to learn, to explore, and to create. Our goal is to inspire students to explore their interests in a stress-free, fun environment.

About my class
