I teach students who receive special education services with a variety of needs in multiple grade levels; working with individuals who have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, specific learning disabilities, ADHD/ADD, emotional disabilities, hearing impairments, and blind/low vision.
In order for my students to be successful, they need their basic needs to be met. It's hard to focus when this doesn't take place. Some of my students have many obstacles in front of them; however, I do my best to meet them wherever they may be and give them exactly what they need. My passion is to provide a solid foundation for my students so that they are successful individuals and feel prepared when they leave me to further their education. Providing my students with the requested items will finally take away some of the chaos they may face in their daily life, if only for a few hours during the school day.
