Sacramento is one of the most diverse cities in the country, and my kindergarten classroom reflects that. My 24 students come to me with a variety of experiences, which enriches our classroom for all students. Our Title I school is small, close-knit, and urban. Roughly two-thirds of our school population qualifies for free/reduced-price lunch. My kindergartners teach me just as much as I teach them. I strive to create a classroom in which all students are valued and have a sense of belonging. I have a great group of kids!
